How to clean an oven guide –

  1. Switch off oven electric supply
  2. Remove oven door to allow better access ( Door removal guide )
  3. Remove oven shelves to steep in your oven cleaning tray
  4. Remove oven racking to steep in your oven cleaning tray
  5. Use replaceable razor scraper to scrape off and burned on deposits
  6. Use Eco friendly cleaning paste with a scouring pad to remove remaining grease
  7. Use spray bottle to apply evans lift de-greaser to oven internals.
  8. Use steel pads to clean oven racking and shelving
  9. Wire brush attachments will treat all hard to reach deposits in the corners and seams of the oven.
  10. Remove and clean fan cover , clean fan using brass brush

How to remove and clean an oven door.

There are 4 main hinge types used to secure your oven door to the oven body housing. All but one of these is easily to remove if you follow our simple instructions. If you have any problems please refer to your manufactures guides available online

  1. Identify your oven type.
  2. Locate the oven hinge securing your door to your oven.
  3. Locate the clasps on the hinge and loosen with a screwdriver or flat bladed tool.
  4. Move the clasps into the locking position on the hinge
  5. Gently close the oven door when the clasps are in the locking position
  6. The door will close halfway before engaging the claps on the hinge
  7. Lift the oven door upwards to release the hinge from the oven body
  8. Place the oven door on a flat surface
  9. Remove the screws securing the glass sections on the oven door
  10. Clean all parts of the door internals before reassembling the oven door and reattaching to the oven body.
  11. Follow the removal instructions in reverse to reattach the oven door
